“No Tyrants” rallies were held standing shoulder to shoulder in solidarity with thousands No Kings rallies in the United States and around the world.

From concerns over immigration policies to fears of rising authoritarianism, demonstrators made it clear: these issues don’t stop at borders. For many Canadians, this wasn’t just about watching events unfold elsewhere it was about speaking up, showing support, and sending a message that democracy and human rights matter everywhere.

Canadians will be voting in by-elections and in the U.S midterm elections and will advocate for accountability both abroad and at home. With growing concerns about similar political sentiments emerging in Canada, the rally also served as a reminder to stay vigilant and engaged locally.

With World Cup FIFA coming to Canada, US and Mexico this summer. Canadian activists are demanding that ICE should not be allowed to come to Canada to enforce US anti-immigrant policies.
